Lykora Public Website and Waitlist

Masters Labs LLC operates the public Lykora website, waitlist, related email communications, and official public community surfaces. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with those current pre-launch activities.
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the public Lykora website at lykora.net (the “Site”), the Lykora waitlist and related email communications, and official public community interactions that Masters Labs LLC controls.
This Policy does not govern the Lykora private alpha, Lykora Product accounts, paid services, developer APIs, Product Conversations, Institution state, or other nonpublic Product use. Before any such access is offered, Masters Labs will provide additional or updated privacy notices and terms that describe the applicable Product data practices.
1. Who We Are
Masters Labs LLC (“Masters Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a South Carolina limited liability company. Lykora is a product and brand of Masters Labs.

2. Personal Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you join a waitlist, contact us, send feedback, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your email address, name or other information you choose to provide, the content of your communication, your subscription preferences, and records showing confirmation, consent, unsubscribe, or other communication choices. Contact messages are used to read and reply to your inquiry. Contacting us does not enroll you in the waitlist.
Website and technical information. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may process technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device type, operating system, requested pages or files, timestamps, referring pages, network and routing information, security events, and similar request or diagnostic data. The Site currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and website performance. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as cookie-free and designed not to collect or use visitors’ personal data. The Site also currently loads Cormorant Garamond and Manrope through Google Fonts; your browser connects to Google to retrieve those font resources, which causes technical request information to be transmitted to Google as part of those requests.
Waitlist and email engagement information. Our email service provider may process information about waitlist confirmation, email delivery, bounces, unsubscribes, and, depending on configuration and recipient software, whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.
Official community information. If you join or interact with an official Lykora community on Discord, we may receive or view information made available through that community, such as your Discord username and profile, messages, reactions, roles, reports, and moderation records. Information posted in public community channels may be visible to other community members.
Sensitive information. The public Site, waitlist, and public community channels are not intended for passwords, API keys, authentication credentials, payment-card information, private Lykora Product content, confidential company information, or other sensitive information. Please do not submit such information through public channels.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Site and waitlist;
- confirm waitlist subscriptions and send Lykora development, launch, community, or other requested updates;
- respond to questions, feedback, privacy requests, and support communications;
- understand Site and communication performance and improve our public materials;
- detect, investigate, and prevent spam, phishing, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our rules or Terms;
- maintain business, consent, suppression, security, and legal records;
- protect the rights, safety, property, and integrity of Masters Labs, our community, and others; and
- comply with law, legal process, and enforceable governmental requests.
4. Legal Bases Where Applicable
Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on your consent (for example, when you opt in to receive email updates), steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Site and community, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use service providers to operate the Site and communications. Current examples include Cloudflare for DNS, website hosting, serverless functions, network delivery, security, and privacy-focused website analytics and performance measurement through Cloudflare Web Analytics; Kit for waitlist management, double opt-in confirmation, email delivery, and related engagement records; Google for Google Fonts, which delivers the Cormorant Garamond and Manrope web-font resources requested by visitors’ browsers; Google Workspace for business email; and Discord for the official public community. Kit remains the current provider for the email list; no migration to Resend has occurred.
- Proposed contact form. Resend is a candidate for delivery of messages through a future activated Site contact form. It is not currently configured or approved for production. If that form is approved and activated, the name, email address, topic, and message submitted through it may be processed by Resend for delivery to Masters Labs. This would remain separate from the Kit email list and would not subscribe the sender to updates.
- Contractors and professional advisers. We may provide limited information to contractors or advisers who need it to perform authorized work for Masters Labs and who are subject to appropriate obligations.
- Legal, security, and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, property, security, or the integrity of the Site or community.
- Business transactions. Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
- At your direction. We may disclose information when you request, direct, or consent to the disclosure.
6. Sale of Personal Information and Targeted Advertising
Masters Labs does not sell or rent personal information. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use the Site to serve targeted advertising. We may use aggregated or deidentified information for legitimate business and Product-planning purposes, provided it is not reasonably capable of identifying an individual.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site and its service providers may use cookies, unique identifiers, web beacons, or similar technologies that are necessary for website delivery, security, waitlist operation, email confirmation, or communication measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics currently uses a browser beacon for website performance and usage measurement and is described by Cloudflare as cookie-free. Google Fonts is loaded through direct browser requests to Google for font stylesheets and font files. Third-party websites and services that you choose to visit, including Discord or Kit-hosted confirmation pages, may use their own technologies under their own policies.
We do not currently use advertising cookies on the Site. The Site currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-focused website analytics and performance measurement. If we later add advertising, materially different tracking, or other non-essential technologies that require additional notice or consent, we will update this Policy and implement consent or choice mechanisms where required.
8. Email Choices
The current Lykora waitlist uses a double opt-in process. After submitting an email address, you may be asked to confirm your subscription. You can unsubscribe from marketing or development emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting hello@lykora.net.
Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails but does not necessarily delete every record. We may retain limited suppression, consent, security, or legal records so that we can honor your choice and meet legitimate obligations. You may separately request deletion as described below.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including while you remain subscribed, while a communication or request is active, and for legitimate security, recordkeeping, legal, or dispute-resolution needs.
Retention may vary by data category and service provider. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it, subject to legal requirements, backups, suppression records, and technical limitations.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No Internet transmission, email system, website, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using appropriate caution when deciding what to send through public or electronic channels.
11. Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information; to withdraw consent; or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You may submit a request to hello@lykora.net. We may need to verify your identity and the scope of your request. Rights are not absolute, and we may retain information where permitted or required for security, legal, fraud-prevention, suppression, or other legitimate purposes. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
12. International Processing
Masters Labs is based in the United States. We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live. Where legally required, service providers may rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or contractual safeguards.
13. Children
The Site, waitlist, and public Lykora community are not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not submit personal information to us. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Users who are not legally able to agree to applicable terms should participate only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. Those third parties control their own privacy practices. This Policy does not govern information that a third party collects directly from you, and we encourage you to review the third party’s privacy policy before using its service.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as our Site, waitlist, community, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and change the “Last Updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required.
